Serengeti Swivel

Serengeti Swivel

Located at the end of an estate green belt, this generous double storey rises from plains. Presenting three simple gabled volumes to the street which in turn gets drastically interrupted at the opposite end with a twisted staircase and double volume. Adjacent to the triple garage, a deeply recessed entrance greets you under a thinly detailed steel pergola. The entertainment area is focussed to North and the green belt to the east, but further extends to the South as well

Entry is into a double volume space, leading into a private lounge surrounded by two courtyard gardens. The ground floor further boasts a large open plan layout with a slanted wall directing the attention to the garden. The first floor contains the master suite along with 2 additional en-suite bedrooms and a study with a view over the undeveloped land adjacent to the estate

In the contrasting scheme, lighter colours are pinpricked by thin black steel features. Upon changing the perspective these elements become a wider profile, picking up with the visually heavier elements like the overhanging slabs and parapets
