DIE EEN MET DIE SINK
As part of the larger Sondela Senior lifestyle scheme: A development specifically designed for fifty plussers as a home in the Limpopo Bushveld.
Contemporary interpretation of the Highveld vernacular; Single storey home nestled amongst the bushveld trees with an earthy colour palette to blend with it’s environment. Corobrik’s Capricorn satin face brick, chosen to pick up on the red Sondela soil with grey and charcoal accents.
Designed with a lot of contributing elements from the client. The house is made up by three elements: Volumes located around a central stoep and private courtyard, that serve as transitioning spaces.
Custom made lasercut screens and pergolas further play with light, adding a magical play of shadows around these spaces.
