Conceptualized for a corner stand with dual entry points. Priority was given to place the bulk of the volume to the back of the stand to allow for a semi enclosed courtyard. Facing the street, the smaller single storey and boma provides privacy to all the living areas adjacent to the courtyard

Darker swatches of grey are interrupted by lighter vertical and horizontal lines. Represented by the large slabs wrapping around the volumes, to be interrupted by fluted vertical elements. Low pitched roofs keep the volumes lower and allow focus on the slab elements interrupted by the vertical elements. This fluted detail gets carried throughout the home to accent gable ends and ultimately culminates in the drama of the front door with additional steel H-columns to reinforce the aesthetic
